Principal’s Message

Dear Staff, students, parents, ex-students and well-wishers,

“The function of education is to teach someone to think intensively and critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education” said Martin Luther King Jr. Yes, it is very much true. Education develops the people’s minds to a great level and helps in removing all the differences in the society. It makes us able to become a good learner and understand every aspect of life. It provides ability to understand all the human rights, social rights, duties and responsibilities towards one’s country.

St. Paul’s School, Bijainagar is engaged in relentless pursuit of this goal. We are doing everything possible in giving a positive direction to the students entrusted to our care, so that they can combat the challenges posed by the ever-changing competitive world and serve as strong weapons in the armoury of society to fight against any upheavals.

While academic excellence is our major thrust, our school is also devoted to prepare the students for life, groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and encourage them to be socially relevant. We constantly endeavour to always live up to this ideology and inculcate this into everything we do, with the hope that we will be able to ensure that the children grow to their potentiality, while constantly being groomed to pass out as efficient Paulites competent to bear responsibility in all walks of life. The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of children. Their consistent support empowers us to do more and more. I pay my gratitude to them for their faith in us. I am confident enough that our Paulites will make themselves stronger day by day, adding a new leaf to the grandeur of the school.

I take this opportunity to gratefully remember the dedicated services rendered by our dear Sr. Candida and Sr. Neelima for the last couple of years. I thank them sincerely for the great role they played in the development of this institution, moulding the mind and character of students and instilling strict discipline in them. As they will be leaving our institution soon to spread the love of God elsewhere, I wish them great success in their next places of work. We will surely miss them. God be with them always.

I also welcome whole heartedly the new Sisters who will be joining us for the new academic year, Sr. Alexia and Sr. Regina. I wish them all the best.

‘All the Best’ to the staff, students and parents for the new academic year 2018-19. God bless you all.

Fr. Cantius Ligoury
